Google Adsense – New Click Zone Rules

Google Adsense – New Click Zone Rules!

Google Adsense’s New Click Zone Rules!
Google got a new news to all it’s members and advertisers about some new changes. The news is that Google is going to make it more harder to click on it’s ads from now on!
In the old AdSense setup, a reader just has to click anywhere inside the ad block to register a click and be sent to the advertiser. The new setup will require the readers to click on the actual ad title or the ad URL, ie; the click zone has been drastically reduced. The main reason for doing this according to Google:
We’re rolling out a change to our text ad formats to help reduce accidental clicks and increase value for advertisers…..This new format will match the changes we’ve implemented on Google.com to help decrease the number of accidental clicks and increase the number of ad conversions. A reduction in accidental clicks will keep users on your pages, interacting with your content until they choose to click on an ad. This change will enhance the user’s overall experience with your websites and improve advertiser campaign value, but it’s likely that your click-through rate will decrease.
This new changes might affect your AdSense earnings after making it harder to click the ads….But in my opinion that these ads are paid for from advertisers, so the advertisers got the right to get the best service for their money ie; more targeted traffic than the accidental clicks……I know that that would affect publisher’s earning (whom I am one of them), but the truth have to be said!
What is your opinion about this change?

BlueHost Hosting Update – $50 Free Google Adwords credits

BlueHost Hosting Update – $50 Free Google Adwords credits

As you all know this blog is hosted at my Top Hosting Company – BlueHost. BlueHost is the number one WordPress support hosting company, with a one click automatically installation of wordpress, as I previously mentioned at my post – Get A Cheap Host – Host Your WordPress Blog.
BlueHost hosting service is also the cheapest hosting service on the net, where you won’t get all it’s features + a free domain name “forever!” + their supporting any where else.
Today I got an email from BlueHost announcing about their three new updates,.. one that is not yet offered by any other hosting company.
BlueHost New 3 Updates:
Here is the updates in their words;
1-
First, because we are growing so quickly we have contracted to add 300 additional
Mbit of bandwidth each month to our network starting on the first of each month. This
means faster downloads during peaks hours and less limits on burst usage for single
accounts. This is an ongoing upgrade that will benefit us through March of 2008!
2-
Second, there have been concerns over what we will be doing regarding PHP4. For
those that don’t know PHP4 is being phased out in the near future, and while third
party organizations have decided to maintain security updates for PHP4, it is clear that
PHP5 is the way to go and its only a matter of time before everyone needs to switch
their scripts to use PHP5. We have many servers with PHP4 running, and also many
with PHP5. To alleviate any issues in the future with certain scripts that only run on one
version of PHP we have developed the ability to run PHP4 and PHP5 on the same server
simultaneously. This will be rolled out to all users in the next couple of weeks. Some
servers already have this ability while most will see it in the next two weeks. You will
simply choose which version you would like to run in your Cpanel. This is a MUCH
needed feature for the future, and we don’t know of any other Cpanel hosts that will
give you this ability (Another score for Bluehost!!).
3-
Third, for those users that have yet to take advantage of the free marketing credits
available to our customers, now is the time. Google has increased their offering to an
amazing $50! Simply create a new adwords account with a minimum $5 initial deposit
and the $50 of marketing credits will be added to your account.
Those new features are now added to their previous features. The $50 Free Google Adwords credits now added to the previous $50 Free Yahoo Credits would be a good start to your PPC advertising.
You are also able to Host UNLIMITED Domains, other than the Free Domain Forever offered with their hosting service.
bluehost
If you are thinking of hosting a wordpress blog, the BlueHost is your best choice!

Google PageRank Update – How To Improve It

Google PageRank Update – How To Improve It ?
Well, this post is not about how to improve your Google PageRank …. I am the one asking now!! what is going on?! ……
I already know a lot about how to improve a website, and get a high PageRank …. I really do, as I easily got a PR4 for my first blog I started after less than 3 months from starting it …. But now Google is going crazy in it’s work, and they seems to start loving to give a website a PR0 .. maybe that it much easier for them, to just have a look at a site and, “UH!!! here is a mistake….Mmmm…It should not be given a PageRank….PR0!!! next…” and so on.

Google Is Driving Me Crazy In It’s PageRank Strategy !!!

After my PageRank went to PR0 from PR3 at this blog, I realized it was because of the sponsored posts, then I knew that google is not against paid posts, but they want us to add “re=nofollow” to them and it’s ok …. So I did so, added nofollow to all my sponsored posts, as google said that it’s ok to pay for a post to get traffic or noticed, but not to build a PageRank! ….. Then my dear Google was kind enough and gave me a PR2 !!! … I was like “TWO!!! Mmmm ok … no prob …. the next update will be better” …. But guess what, as usual and expected from google “expected by me!” that was the last PR I got, the next update and the following ones “god know how many updates they were!!” I never got anything, a PR0 my blog is now and I think it will stay that way as I can’t guess what my dear Google saw wrong at my blog to do so!!!
P.S. Although my traffic is increasing, and my blog is doing well (not that much affected by PR) … but I would prefer to get a PR, as all of the bloggers and webmasters are going crazy about it, and everyone is being “proud” by having a PR this or PR that!!!

The Google Webmaster Tools

For all webmasters, Google Webmaster Tools are a great helpful collection. Go to Google Webmaster Tools if you have a gmail account (or any other email) and sign in with your username and password. Once you have logged in you can you could insert your website to webmaster tools.
After you add your site address you will have to confirm that you are the site owner. The easiest way to do so is to make a HTML confirmation file and upload it to the web server. Copy the name of the confirmation file and save it. Once the confirmation is done Google will give you some remarkable information about your site. One of the most remarkable elements is the Top Search Queries. On the left column you will find the leading 20 queries on which your site appears and also the percentage of the leading 20 queries constituted by the search.
The end column is Position. It displays the place of your site in the search results. This is the website’s average place in the Search. For instance, the position of your site would be fourth in google.in and it could be 2nd page in google.com. You can see the leading search Queries from various locations. It is helpful as data regarding highest clicked queries may vary depending on the location. It can be an outcome of various search results in localized search. This report might be of great use as it helps you to optimize your website for other markets.
The right column displays queries that really fetch people to your website. This could prove to be extremely useful. You might have plan that would optimize your site for a particular keyword or set of words but after some time you will notice that some other keywords that you haven’t ever thought of would fetch more visitors. Thus you could concentrate your optimization attempts on these keywords
